Colouring Shocks
I'm getting a new rc off road car (Volcano EPX) - not for racing, just occassional bashing. I'm not worried about performance. The shocks it comes with are black, and I think that the nitro shocks (with green springs) are much nicer.
I don't mind if it makes them slightly less springy, but what can I use to colour the springs?
Paint? Dye? Spray paint?
Thanks for your help,
cowana

RE: Colouring Shocks
Ive painted plastic shocks with regular lexan paint and it worked okay. not sure about steel springs...??? maybe something from the hardware store like a kind of enamel paint?
...or just get the green springs. you could probably order them online somewhere.

Something like Plasti-dip might work very well. Only problem is that is only comes in a few colors.
