50cc Aeroworks Extra 260 Canister question
Hi everyone:
I have a 50cc Extra260 with a DL-50 that I want to try to fit with a Canister. I have no prior experience with cxanisters and want to try out the MT C65 canister in my aircraft. This canister has the stinger at the front of the canister rather than the rear. My question is - Am I going to need to open up the floor of the aircraft at the rear of the canister to allow flow through air to cool the canister?
How much heat do these things project? Is there a danger of overheating the airframe without opening it up?
Do these canisters do a good job of quieting the exhaust?
Any assistance you can give me would be appreciated.
Regards,
Dennis
