Default Goldberg Ultimate Wing Incidences

Anybody got a set of plans for the kit version of this airplane lying around? I don't like the look of the cabane angle on this ARF; it appears the top wing has a BUNCH of positive incidence, and I don't remember that from when I built the kit many years back.

If anyone knows the proper incidence for both wings, I would be much appreciative...

I just built this kit and at the same time using the same plans I scratch built a 62 inch version of this Ultimate. My wings are both at 0 and the Stab is +1.25.

I have never flown the smaller Ultimate, the 54 inch original, but the big one flies great.

Hope this helps.

if you put a tad of negative incidence in the top wing, i think you will find that the plane will track better. Bipes need the leading edges of its wings to point to each other slightly. Also, on the CG kit built Ultimate, if you lower the top wing one inch, it will fly better as well.

Thanks for the replies. Jeff, I'll try the "tad of negative".

Tony, are you guys still flying out of that pasture near Simsboro? Talk about a paved runway in the middle of nowhere...

The Son of the farmer that owned the land took it back and planted Christmas trees there.

We now fly at the old Ruston airport. Now thats a runway. Only a small group flies there. Most of the time I am out there alone. NO worry about some one else on my frequency.
