The SuperXtra does have 5 and the 3.3M has only 4 per Elevator.

Hey Thanks Ian,
I would have thought that the 3.3 would have had as many or more. I guess the flutter problems with the 3.1 led to an additional phenolic hinge point? Only 4 plates on each elevator half of the 3.0 as well.

I didn't measure the Thickness of the Phenolic on either model but Flutter is no problem on either for me.
Of all the machines I have ever Flown the 3.3m is at the Top of the food chain.
