futaba not charging 2 cap. like hitec SBA
i just got my new 6ch futaba upgrade 6exap. I have charged it up one several different occasions. I drain the batteries to make sure they dont develop memory probs also i dont own a charger with the capabilities. I can only get about 40-45 mins out of the radio. This is the exact prob i had with the hitec. DFI sent me a charger for the radio saying there was a known prob with DFI Little/yellow/cheap lipoly charger and the hitec radio. I think it was the the male/female connection, not enough surface area contact. now all is well with hitec .. Now the fUTABA I bought didnt come with a charger, in my opinion I am troubled with this fact. there are dozens of electronic things i have bought over the years. and i cant think of one that didnt come with a power source. The problem I am having now is exactly the same. i was told to use the cheap/yellow charger as the source for the futaba. that is the only thing I have that plugs into the futaba. But it is loose just like the hitec. I noticed right away that it was not a perfect but i dont have any other options short of just buying a charger. Im not cheap but in the last few weeks i have over 15 seperate purchases from DFI and that thought just makes my butt pucker. Someone weight in on whats the thoughts are on no charger with radio purchase. DFI said the problem only affects hitec and not the futaba. so I am at my wits end on this. Same trouble, same yellow charger', same poor fit at connection. what else could it be ??? I know sky said he had this trouble and DFI told him to use their charger and they sent him another battery and he was happy about it cause now he has 2. so once again if they would just automatically send the charger this could all be avoided I cant be the only one having trouble because it s the same configuration unless the batteries are toast

I can't imagine ANYONE selling something rechargable WITHOUT a charger! You're absolutely right!!! Good luck with your fight.

Completely agreed with Madean...You should have received the charger! What does DFI say when you tell them the yellow charger isn't working?

im calling DFI tomorrow about this . I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt since this is their"fortay" ya i know i mispelled it. I dont like rude people and I try to treat others as I would want to be treated. I guess If push comes to shove

first decided to get the DF . I had hoped DFI was going to be a great partner to work with. I really dont know how many customers they have but since it isnt your run of the mill toy you could by at Wal-Mart, and lets face it. It's not the kind of thing that just anyone would Buy, you know like when you go into the mercedes dealership. You dont have to ask for these things because you can tell if a customer had to, someone was going to hear about it. I guess what im saying is its nice when
you know the people your dealing with have covered all the bases. There is nothing worse than the NO CONFIDENCE feeling.
You start wondering if anyone really knows what their doing and after that you start looking for someone else to do business
with. My futaba radio was sopose to be ch 53 when it arrived,but it was ch 41 no biggie because I have 2 DF and Mike has shipped my board back to me reconfigured for ch53 my partner is learning to fly now and I only have the 1 DF at Home right now. I try to plan for just about everything and since I had a shipment coming from DF I called them up and told them to be sure and include the ch 53 TX crystal in the box. I was told no problem its on its way. well 3days later my package arrives from DF the same day my board from spectrolutions shows up so im stoked thinking "I love a plan when it comes together" put the board on my 2nd DF and open the box from DFI and the invoice says 1 "TX" crystal. I find the crystal and it is "RX" crystal. It really diasppointed me since it is the saturday before Easter so Im screwed. I call them up and tell them about this and he says it was a simple mistake to make and he will ship on Monday. up until now I have used the customer skills that I have but this was really getting to me. The more and more I thought about it the more and more pissed I was becoming. Here is what Im talking about. No it shouldnt have been a simple mistake. their not Wal-Mart and since they already made the first mistake sending the radio with the wrong config and now I believe I have had at least 3 communications with them about this and I even called to make sure the crystal was going to be here at the right time and it is a big deal after all the money one spends and if im lucky enough to have the time to go fly, it just wasent that big a deal to the guy on the other end of the phone. I called him back and explained exactly why I was calling again. it was since I have a no confidence issue with them I need to know if they actually have the crystal because If there going to put me in the same position on monday I want to know Now because I take care of it myself down here because I want to fly this month. The guy actually got mad , I could hear it in his voice. He said he really didnt know what" that "was all about but he knows they have the crystals and will send on Monday. I can tell you this because customer relations were my job. If I owned that company, this would not have happened and after having the discussion I had on Saturday. My employee's would have been filling out a ***** sheet giving me a heads up about what happened ,why it happened, what he told the customer and what the customer told him. I would be calling the customer and asking " What can we do to Make this right and how sorry we are it has happened! I dont expect anyone to call me and they didnt. It's a shame to because I live my DF
