Custom built drag
Hello been checking out this forum for a while and i finally decided to break the ice and post. Iv'e been into the rc for many years but for the past 3yrs slowly have distanced myself.Due to the fact that where i live now not many(or) people i know of are into the rc hobby especially nitro onroad.Plus with my other hobby like racing my super mini has been pulling me away.So i figured i try and join in on a new site in hopes of finding other onroad rc enthusiasts that are inmy areaor close enough to drive to.
I have a few old rc cars that are nitro mostly onroad and in pieces.LOL I'm just trying to keep the flame going.Oh i also was making 1/5th nitro onroad motorcycles and a couple of converted to nitroradio shack Ricky Carmicheal rc bikes. You might have seen these car pics aroundor might not have. I never got heavyinto forums for the 4 wheeled rc vehicles mainly just for my scratch built nitro rc bikes.
Now thi****g car i built wasmade from atleast 5 different cars and maybe4 different manufactures.I used maybe 95% spare parts i had lying around and either modified them to fit where i needed them or some worked them in.LOL I sold this car on ebay like 5yrs ago not for peanuts considering the tecnacraft rims that were on the car was worth more than the car itself. I do miss the one it was always one of my favorites.

that car was amazing! you built that from spare parts! dude you have some skillz. it rare you see a scale car with detailed motor that is also a running nitro RC!
i have been on this site for years, and few builds like that have showed up. thats some high quality work there.

RE: Custom built drag
Thanks for the compliments. I found some pics i had posted on a forum from back in 2005. I used a cheap camera so i must say i'm sorry in advance.
I do plan on building another one i have a 67 mustang fastback and a 1970's camaro body that i'm thinking about using. I'm leaning more towards the 70's camaro though.
It will be a little bit before i get to this build, but when i do this time i will take lots of pics and pick of the progress as i go along. Yes i do miss this car.LOL
