I recently got a futaba 6xhs rc system. Is there any way to make it work with the GWS 4 ch receiver????? I'm guessing not?
Can I use the futaba 7 ch receiver with my drgonfly micro servos, gyro and battery??
I know that these questions may seem stupid, but this stuff is not that obvious to me. Thanks.

you can but the channels are all screwd up and the reception is very poor. but if you have the same xtal set then it sould work to a degree.

It will be perfect just get the matched crystal for the receiver.

I am using that setup. I modified the GWS receiver to add channel 6 for a CP heli... No problems at all. Besides having both RX and TX on the same channel, make sure the receiver you have operates with the Futaba/Hitec IF shift and not the JR/Airtronics IF shift.

Can I just take the crystal out of the GWS transmitter and put it in the Futaba????

I tried this and it does not seem to work.....the mixer LED just keeps going green to red over and over????
I am getting frustrated with this and I fear for the saftey of my heli!
