i have a revo with the picco .26 max but the spur gear cuts into the air filter do i need a different air filter or can you position the carb so it fits properly

I run an HPI Motor Saver filter from the savage on my Picco 26. I just rest the filter on top of the tranny case it works just fine.

i run a 1/8 scale filter and rest it on top of my tranny case also.

There should be some clearance between the filter neck and the spur gear. I use the stock neck and a MS filter.

I had a similar problem once, what happened was that my engine mount was bent and I had not noticed.

Check your engine mount and chassis to see if they are not twisted.
