Just curious what everyones' paying for a a gallon of nitro fuel. This year I paid 26.00 with better fuel going for closer to 30.00 with tax. I use odonells and am going to try a gallon of traxxas newest fuel to come out.

Any information that traxxas is making a new fuel? My LHS is way overpriced and they charge $40 for 20% traxxas!!!!!!

Depends on where I shop. 30USD at one store for 20% while at another I got Nitrotane for about 20USD. The Traxxas was like 24.

Not any car fuel I've ever bought.

In my planes I use Omega and Coolpower 15% nitro fuel, and those are around 18% oil, with the Omega being synth/castor blend, and the Coolpower being a pure synth oil. I usually use O'Donnells in my car, and I believe the "race blend" is 10 or 12% oil, while the RTR blend is either 12 or 14% oil. I had to email them for that info, and I don't have it handy, so I'm going off memory. Most car fuels I've used are in that range though.

For some reason, car fuel blenders get away with not advertising oil content while most plane/heli guys I fly with won't buy fuel that doesn't list the oil content and blend. I think car fuel pricing may have more to do with the marketing department than the ingredients...
...FWIW, I was paying $30 for a gallon of 30% nitro O'Donnells race blend in the spring, but the last time I went for fuel(same shop) it was $45! I bought a gallon of 20% instead and re-tuned to suit.
