Default How to charge a Lipo??????????

I am new to lipo batties. I have read alot on line and know about the dangers of wrong chargers and the basics. I have a Team orion Advantage charger that also charges lipo batteries. The Instructions are awful. I have a 8000mah 2 cell 7.4V battery. Which plug on battery is used to charge with? Oh the battery has Deans connector. The charger only has 2 alligator positive and negative clips. Do I need a special adapter? Or can I make something? I thought the 3 wire small connector was a balance connector? But Iam not sure? Thanks

Hi,
I am sure if you go to the batteries and charger section you will find some answers.

Hook the alligator clamps + to + and - to - on the dean's. It isn't the best or sfest connection so if you wanted to get or make a lead or adapter with the other Dean's connector it would be good.

The 3 wire small connector is the balance connector.

Thanks for all the response. Yeah I finally found some info on the net. Exactly what you said. I have a deans connector coming in the mail. Because I didn't thin that was safest connection either. I will also be looking int a balancer. Thanks again
