Default Battery Source for TF 310

I am close to maiden flight of my 310. Waiting on twin sync and glow drivers. My question is should I expect a higher battery when using digital srevos. I have four in the wing. I've noticed that a 1200MA battery pack is not lasting as long as I would expect during engine break-in and taxiing around. The digital servos has a constant high pitch sound when the reciever is on and I'm wondering if this is draining current, even with no movement. The battery pack is not knew but it was placed on tripple cycle before I installed it and it showed over 1200MA. However on two occassions while messing around running engines or taxiing the airborne system quit.
What recommendations does anyone have, particularly those of you flying the 310, what are u using?

Thanks
