No. But if you have a powerful engine then this may help because instead of flipping over you will be able to put the power down to the wheels.

I beleive it will fit. You just have to rig up a rear braking system.

NO you will not be able to use the 2.5 chassis with the center diff and rear brake. You will not gain more speed with the center diff, however it will give you more control while in the air. The Center diff allows you to "fish tail" the back wheels of truck on tight corners like a 2wd car. If you are just bashing around it is not necessary, but I tell you what it make your car a hell of alot funner to drive.

Why can't you use the 2.5 chassis. You just have to Dremel some chassis out behind the tranny for the rear brake to fit.

Ok yes maybe you can, I'm not sure I havent tried it myself. And Yes now that I think about it, it is possible. But I was assumed that the original poster would not want to go through the hassle of doing it

So to put the center diff in my old 2.5 I would need the diff kit, the brake kit, and a 3.3 transmission case, right?
Then do some dremeling to the chassis to get it together. Is there anything else? Has anyone done this to the 2.5 yet?
Thanks
Ron

You may need the rear center drive shaft to fit into the brake, similar to the front brake how that works. I am doing it as soon as the Canadian supplier gets mine to my LHS

About 2 more weeks [sm=thumbup.gif]
