Default Switching to FM or Spektrum

I was wondering if you switch from a stock Am Tx to an Fm or Spektrum Tx, do you have to change your servos along with the Rx?

i know you don't have to change servos for FM and I'm 95% sure you don't for spektrum but I'm not sure on that

No you do not need to change the servos. You will need to set the epa's though. Also a better radio is a huge upgrade I love mine.

Yes they are stronger and faster they also usually have metal gears and are digital. Basically they are way better than stock. When I upgraded mine I got better performance from my revo.

I have the Hitec 645mg steering servo and the 2055 servo for the throttle.
Hey jessemxt, what did you mean by having to adjust your epa's and where did you find your Tx.

EPA (End Point Adjustment) that tells your servo to go only so far.

Yeah what jbcomp said. If you don't set them you can burn out your servo. I found my radio on ebay it is considered by many to be the best. It can send info back to the driver like temp readings aka telemetry.
