Top Flite DC-3
I plan to build the TF DC-3 this winter.
Would the Saito FG11 four stroke gas engine be a good fit for this plane?
The recommended engine is the .46AX11

Thanks for the reply.
I'm also considering the Saito FA 56 four strokes.
This plane really should have a four stroke with that good sound.
Lighter weight and simpler, no ignition or batteries,
Have you seen one of these DC-3's fly?
Have'nt ever seen one, they're not very popular for some reason?

My Feedback: (11)
I, personally, have not seen one fly, but they do fly well, according to all who have flown them. Popularity is due to two factors: It's a kit, and it's a twin. Kits have declined in popularity over ARF and RTF models, and twins take two engines, which increase cost and complexity.
