RE: Managing Torque Split
Where the torque from the power source is sent from the differential. I want to know if I can change this with the centre diff so it's locked at a certain percent. Like 40% front/60% rear.

RE: Managing Torque Split
If you lock your center diff, power will be 50F/50R. If you go lower, the front tires will ballon because more power is being sent to the front tires as the rear tires are on the ground most of the time. Also, the lighter the center diff oil, the less acceleration and more offpower steering you get. I like a lighter center diff as it is easier to drive because of not as much acceleration.

RE: Managing Torque Split
I dont get what the OP is saying. If you lock the center diff, it gives 50% power to the frotn and rear. It is almost impossibel to get 40F/60R unless you have a type of brake disc that limits the front from spinning freely. I don't know what decaur and sheograth are saying. Is this thing operated by a remote?

I've seen systems like that for 1/5 scale RCs, but nothing for smaller scales. And even the 1/5 scale ones were insanely expensive.
