RE: blue threadlocker
It cures firm in ten minute. Red is even faster. In a warm environment I think an hour would do the job. I have had screws back out but it was never one that I had recently thread locked, and I am prone to running the thing right after I get it back together.

RE: blue threadlocker
You could, but if something breaks when you are out bashing, and you have to put a replacement on, then you want to continue bashing straight after you finished work. Also, leave it longer if the item you are thread locking gets hot. (eg. steel spur gear screws, they get slightly hot, I leave them longer to set)
