Default Chronic's Custom Chassis

Hello, I would like to share some pics of my slightly modded Savage X. I am VERY pleased to show off Chronics low center gravity TVP's as a direct replacement for the inferiour X's chassis. As well as his more durable engine plate. I cannot thank Chronic enough for helping me out by shipping his product up to me in Canada. I looked hi and low for a replacement TVP kit and found nothing that could compare with his quality machining and price, not to mention his proffessional responce to my emails. If anyone has any questions about them I'll gladly respond. The fit and finish is perfect and it was a simple remove and replace operation. I also replaced some of the Phillips head screws with Hex head stainless ones while I had her apart.

Thanks again Chronic I'll have a drink for you.

Top, these are the stock Savage X replacement plates, which are 5mm LCG compared to the older style. Your plates are like these, but you have the 6mm front stretch.

DOH! He stated they were lcg so that threw me for a loop, you forgot the "L" in the design under the engine plate

Nah, his has the X because it's the stock X replacement. Yours has XL because it's the the stock X plus the extra Length from the front stretch. Corny, I know

That X XL is not really corny, it's cool idea to tell whats what and it looks good too. I noticed this set is a bit different than Thunderbirds set.
Great work...[sm=shades_smile.gif]

you ARE correct, sir. his are a direct bolt-on, while mine needed me to dremel a few stock parts (actually, only the rear engine mount plate support) so it could be LCG all ova the place, lol

Like I said, the plates I recieved from Chronic are a exact bolt on replacement for the Savage X TVP's they are the same length and center of gravity as the stock ones. Just thicker and better design/quality aluminum. I used all other stock parts of the Savage X.

I cant wait to finish work so I can give them a good beating.
