Default How can I tell which is not working

Ok so I just used mt Futuba 2.4 Fast radio and reviever and they seem, to not be working correctly.. I used it on my drifter now and I thot that I was setting it wrong, but when I used a different radio, my car worked fine.

So how can I tell if its the radio or the reciever?

Yes I set up the esc and the reciever works with the radio because my steering servo works fine mosly but sometimes it will stop and gliitch for a second, and when that happens the car goes out of controll.

Ive tried the ESC with another radio and reciever and works fine. so i know its not the ESC

i had a steering servo go out it would short out knock out power to the reciver and the throttle would shut off then come back on. un hook one servo at a time turn power on radio watch the reciver power light see if it stays on .maybe try switching to model #2 rebind the reciver see if that works.

If you can get your hands on a diffrent reciever and try it, that should tell you if the transmiter is bad. If it works with a diffrent reciever, then its the reciever that is junk. Otherwise, you could ship the whole set up to Futaba and have them look at it. If it is still under warranty, it will cost you nothing except for the cost to ship it.
