Nice build, any pictures of the build process.

Just an observation, maybe wrong not an expert, I see a lot of cat pictures with drives like that and the prop actually overhangs the transom. Yours appears to be underneath?

If so easy fix, just block them out an inch... Nice find...

Hi Guy's
if you want to make a water proof pushrod fitting here is what I will do. rc sub drivers use these. go to auto zone. get a rubber vacume plug, the pointy kind. get a piece of brass tubing same size as your pushrod. so if your rod is 1/8 you need 1/8 tubing. sharpen the inside of the tube with an xacto blade. grease the tube, stick it in the nipple turn and cut until you go all the way thru. it should center itself, start slow. then mout it on your transum over your push rod. it is water proof to at least 30 feet. put grease on the push rod to make it slide better. cheap and they work. ask any rc sub guy. all the best craig

His drives will be fine where they are asuming he has plenty of clearance for his props, the one thing i would do though is add a transome extension midships to mount the rudder on to put it further back so its behind the props. If it were mine id go right across the transome from one sponson to the other so you get an overhang full width of the boat just my opinion.
Mart
heres a cpl of pics of a mates cat similar to what im talking about,he put the rudder on the left to stop prop walk but your ok dead centre been twin props .
