RE: Hummingbird-Lithium Ion Mount
I got tired of the batteries falling out of the stock battery mount that Century provides. It also doesn't work at all with the Li-Ion battery they sell. I took the stock holder off and made a flat mounting plate from plexiglass. I used zip ties to hold it to the CF rods that make up the frame. I use rubberbands to hold the batteries to the plate. It looks ugly, but works well and it will work with any battery.
I'd love to attach a photo, but I can't figure out how to do it in a response to an original post. I know it can be done, I've seen it.

Another thing you can do is take smoe square balsa stock that is the right size (I believe I am using .5 inch stock) and cut it to fit across the 2 rods, then place the battery on it, and strap it down with Velcro or rubberbands.
