GAS DRIPPING FROM MY 75 CC QUAD MOTOR
Anyone know why gas would drip from carburator once its primed? I have bought a used p40 with a quad 75 cc motor and started it up today and it kept dripping. It has 2 hoses coming out the bottom. One is the vent and one is the fill Im not sure what one is wich at this time.. I filled tank half way and plugged one tube not sure what one i plugged.I suppose i plugged the one to the clunker because the open one didnt leak. Im assuming the open one is the vent. MY QUESTIONIS WHYISFUELDRIPPINGFROMCARBURATOR without stopping............Thank you for your help

Fuel dripping frmo the carb is a leaking diaphragm or needle in the carb. Get a Kit from your local saw shop and replace the diaphragms. Also get a can of carb cleaner and clean out the passages in the carb in the process.
As it is a used plane, I would suggest you open the tank and replace the lines in there as you may not know what condition they are in. That way you will also find out which line is which.
Use a Walbro felt clunk in the tank (Available from your local saw shop) and no other filters etc between the clunk ant the carb. For the fill line, I don't run a second clunk, I simply bend some tube down to the bottom of the tank and that becomes my fill / empty line.
We so often hear people with fuel system problems that end up being caused by old lines in tanks or tee pieces or filters in the line to the carb.

what aussie said or....
u might need to use "W" tool to correctly adjust the metering lever height... mine was way too high.....correctly setting the height solved the dripping carb
