Default HPI SAVAGE X 4WHEEL DRIVE NOT WORKING

MY REAR TIRES STOPPED WORKING ON ME TODAY. THE FRONT TIRES STILL WORK,. ANY HELP ON WHAT MIGHT BE THE PROBLEM.

The same thing happened to my savage 25, it is the plastic diff cases. The slots that the gears slide into get chewed up causing either the front or rear wheel drive to go.

Or the ring and pinion gear is ground up. If it is the ring and pinion gear then replace them with the FLUX's they are more Heavy Duity than the standard savage x parts.

The diffs are pretty cheap like around $5 for the casing if the gears are still alright. The whole assembly is around $30. Also there are metal ones but they could cause something else to give.

I would check the cup joint first, take a look and check that the screw is still there. Btw, havent the X got alloy diff? Im not sure.
