Default 71 oz. Tank for Baby Boomerang???

I heard somewhere that someone makes a 71 oz. fuel tank to fit the Baby Boomerang. I've searched all the jet threads and can't find any reference to it.

Does anyone know if the rumor is true, and how I can get hold of one???

I'm going to power my new Boomer with a P70 and would like to have the 71 oz. tank.

Thanks in advance,

Frothingslosh

I added a 16 Oz tank in front of the main tank, plumbed to empty last. This helps balance the extra weight (1lb) of the P70 over the P60 I had in it to begin with. I have found that with the extra thrust of the P70 you can cruise at less throttle than with the P60 and so far the fuel consumption has been lower than I expected. Looks like about 6 min for 50 oz.

On a 2l tank (67oz) I easily get 8minutes of open throttle (about 12 minutes of flying) with my P60 and then there is fuel to spare when I land even after a go around!

Thanks a million guys - I'm pretty sure this is what I'm looking for. Sounds a little pricey, but I'm sure it's worth it if it fits without any mods as they say.

STEVE - Any CG problems?

Thanks again guys,

Dick C.
