Indoor pro bro in Louisville, KY who would come?
Quique Kimball and myself (Jeff Williams) have located a possible site in the Louisville area. Target date is early February give or take a week and it would be held on a Saturday starting around noon till 10p. It cost us $25 per hour so we would just divide the cost between attendees. I would think not more than 5 or 10 a person and I have prizes for a little raffle. We need to know what kind of numbers might attend so we know if this place is big enough. Thanks, Jeff Williams and you can email me at [email protected] if you have any other questions.

Glad to see you're making this happen Jeff!
We've been flying indoors down here in Cookeville, TN and I can tell you that at least 4 of our crew would show up, probably more like 6.
Can't wait!

I'm in.
Flip, there is an ad in the new MAN for Ikarus foam 3D profiles, the have 3 designs-- Extra, Edge and SuperStar. They have motor combos available and are inexpensive to boot. should fill the bill nicely.

I would go, but this is too close to the Houston Pro Bro event. Wife would go ballistic.
According to her one time a year to Mempho is enough. Oh well women. What do they know. [X(]

But Ulf.... Houston is in your neck of the woods... So it doesn't really count as an "Out of Town" event.... This is up in Louisville.... You can ride with us if you like....

Right on guys.......this is what we want to hear.
Hey Jeff.......think we should run the same poll in the electric forum? We would just have to clarify for everyone the rules of the Pro-Bro's. No whining and hovering is encouraged!!!!!!!

Right now, the place we have is a little limited on room for large numbers. It is a 2 court gymnasium and that is the reason for the poll. If everyone wants to come, great but we will need an alternative site. Quique and myself are having a little indoor fun on the 20th, and that will give us some insight on how much room we actually have. We could probably go with Feb 14 - 15 area but too early to nail a date without the exact numbers and site. I really think this site we have now coudl accomodate 20 - 25 fliers, especially the way we all fly. Thanks for all the replies. Jeff Williams

Okay, we are showing 11 + replies to the thread so far with Airjunky and Basmntdweller bringing about 4 or 5 of their buddies. That should have get us an attendance of about 20 so far. I think we will be right on target with probably another 10 or pilots showing up. That way we can keep the pilots fee down to the max of $10 and still have an 8 to 12 hour event.
Keep spreading the word guys.

8-12 hours!! I had better start building some spares. The life expectancy of some of my planes is less than that!!!!
Anyway I'll be there , with a fleet.

Jeff,
you should also post this event on rcgroups / ezone. I think you will get a lot of interest fro this fly in from there too.

Thanks Ulf, right now we can only get this one site and it will not accomodate 50 - 60 fliers. Quique and I are thinking maybe next year we can put together a big one and this year do a smaller one. We located a site in Louisville but the cost is $2500 for one day, yikes we need some monster sponsors. Jeff W.

The ceilings in the gym we are using on the 20th of Dec are about 27ft high. If you hit them you are not allowed because you are not flying 3D LOL. Quique get some paint on that thing. A few of us met over at the gym this evening to try and get a look at the size again, noone there so I flew my foamy in the falling snow with the help of two street lights in the parking lot. Too much fun. Jeff W.
