Big engine, BIG plane,,,
Info guy's ,, info,, the cub im building right now is going to be in the 110 to 125 pound range. Im looking at the 3-w 150 but I dont want to spend 1300.00 to find out that it wont pull it.. I figuer that if I doubled the plans to 1/2 scale from 1/4 scale and the 1/4 scale fly's well with a 15-8,,, that I would be safe to say that it should fly with a 30-10 or 32-10..What do you think?? Also the LITTLE cub will be on floats... This monster is just about ready and I need some help...Rod
PS..wingspan is 18 ft and the floats are 88 inches long..have a great day folks...

Have a 282cc twin cyl engine that would most certainly fly it, a 150 is a wonderful engine just not heavy enough for a 1/2 cub. 36" x12 zinger prop is right on the money too. Also less $ than the 150 engine.
