QS-106 test run
I test ran my new QS-106 today. I ran 10-15 minutes at various RPM settings from Idle to 4000. The needle settings are as from A.I. Im running Lawnboy at 32-1. Test prop is a Menz S 26-10. Engine ran at 180-185 degrees. With about 20 minutes run time I pulled the throttle wide open and tached 7000RPM. This is a rich condition and it hesitated till it cleared out. Exceptionally smooth and once cleared out the throttle responce is instant. It has Supersonic muffs and the pop at idle is awesome. Megga power, walt

106 test run
My engine does have the new ignition. But It was shipped without the carbon fiber intake horn and I was told it would be shipped later because of back order. It took 3 months to get this motor, Im glad I waited!!

Say Walt:
Did you ever figure out why your other 3W-100 was down 400 rpm in power? I'm curious.
Also, how bout that BME-100 that was dropping a cylinder? Ignition or what?

106 test run
Hey Diablo: The BME ignition is back at C&H for a new coil.. The 3W-100 has had the pick-up moved to the farthest advance setting. Have not flown this set-up yet, still debating sending it to Gerhard..
