Sprint 2 gearing
I have a Sprint 2 with a Castle Creations Sidewinder 5700kV motor/esc. When I ran it before without the body, the motor was barely warm when the batteries died. Now yesterday, I ran it with the body on, and it got hotter than hell pretty quick. How would you guys gear this car?
I have a 30/87 gearing in it now, any suggestions?

well brushless is one problem. But get a 96 and a 23. That should help. go up and down from there. Till you find the gear that makes you car excelerate out of turns and still has top end. Dont go so big in the pinion. Thats will make you over heat faster then you can watch your new motor burn.
