help with t-maxx hex sizes?
ok i got the traxxas t-maxx 2.5 i just bought some pro line big joe 40 series tires and now i need to pick out the wheels.. but they go by the hex size.. so i was wondering what hex size i need? they are stock hexes. or should i upgrade to bigger size if possible?

you don't need 23mm to run those tires...I run 40 series road rages w/ velocity wheels on my regular hexes...yea, your stock hex is 14mm...btw if you can I would upgrade to 17mm...more choices, lighter, durable, but just make sure you don't get an 1/8 buggy wheel or tire!! Get either truggy or monster truck

getting 40 series wheels in the 14mm hex size seems to put to much stress on them to me get the 17mm or 23mm hex 40 series wheels
