Where can I buy a Painted Hummer body for Savage
Hello everyone and Merry Christmas!
I need a pre-painted hummer body, for an HPI Savage, preferable a camo one.
Anyone know where to get one?

I've got a nice brand-new silver one for sale, but I'm in Germany.. Sorry..
You probably won't find a pre-painted one. Just get the clear one from Proline and do it yourself...

Yep, that's what I'm afraid of, I have an airbrush kit at home I've never used, perhaps it's time. What type of paint does a person use for an airbrush for a clear body that's going on a nitro truck.

You have to get paint made for painting lexan because it needs to remain flexible. If you use something else it will chip and peel off.

Just buy a rattle-can of black Tamiya lexan paint. Cut it, clean it, apply window masks, paint it, wait 12 hours, drill body-post holes, take off protective film, apply stickers, done.
Camo shouldn't be TOO hard - just requires patience. I think it would be difficult to make curving lines, but jagged ones would be easier to do, and probably look better. Tamiya makes some good model tape. Then just tape off your design and paint it. The key is patience. If you want a three color camo for ex, let the whole process take three days..
I would think a dark green, light tan, and dark brown mix with jagged lines would be cool..
