Default Dying RPM Arms

Hey Guys,

I was looking at RPM arms for my Revo. I have a orange color scheme so I want to get the white so I can dye them orange. Would it work just to spray paint them. If not how would you dye them. Thanks for the help.

No spray paint....

You could get aluminum and get them anodized, or these and get them dyed. Just dip them in RIT dye. Search the forums, there are hundreds of threads about dyeing parts.

Go to Walmart or Meijer and get some RIT clothing dye. You will want Sunshine Orange. Boil some water, put the dye in, and drop your heat to a simmer. Put the arms in and check them every few minutes until they are as dark as you want them.

We used to do that in the 80's when we raced the Associated RC 500. Most of us dyed them black. It is also good to boil them too, it stress releives the nylon.
