Default Will an RB X12 T fit in a FT RC10GT?

Hey,
I am wondering if the RB Concepts X12T motor will fit in a Factory Team RC10GT. I have heard that the power is unbelievable. My main question is will it fit. My second question would be what do yall think of the motor? I have heard that it is one of the fastest .12s around . Thanks in advance for yalls opinions and help.

Thanks Again

Could an O.S. .15 CV-R out run RB Concepts X12T?

The RB will outrun a .15 CV-R and yes it will fit but you will need a new header. Unless you have quite a bit of tuning knowledge I wouldn't recommend buying one since high end engines have closer tolerances between the piston and sleeve and can be less forgiving to tune. BTW, don't bother with the turbo version. The only difference is it requires turbo plugs which are about $8-9 each and the performance gain is disputed.

Default RB

To be honest I dont know what you would do with all that power on a off road track. Never tried it but seems like you would get more wheel spin than anything else.
If this is your backyard basher then what the heck throw it in there, sounds like it would be a lot of fun.

It should most certainly fit, however you will have to cut the shaft. Im somewhat out of the know on these engines but I dont think they make a short shaft version, maybe they do.
You will also need to make sure that you get a standard shaft and not the SG competition shaft.

As for the tuning, I have never tuned one but everything I have read goes right along with what gubbs is saying.

My Rossi .12 is too much power at a small track. Awesome, but I am thinking about carb inserts to slow it down. This will lower my lap time with the extra control.
