pro .46 airplane engine in 1/8 buggy
would it be feasable to use an airplane engine of this size
if i were to atempt this it would not be for power or speed
because a top quality .21 car engine makes as much power if not a little more
however the benifits would be improved midrange ,cheap fuel , better idle, better throtle transition , more reliability
obsticles would be due to the rpm difference although both make around 2 hp one does it a 15000 rpm instead of 30,000
gearing and tire selection could make up for the speed difference
however i do not know what rpm most clutches engage at
this be a major problem, if they engage at to high an rpm you would lose all the bennifits of the 46 sized engines midrange and throttle response
