Dragonfly upgrades
I want to get a 120 degree swashplate for my Feda Dragonfly and i've looked on Helihobby.com but details are quite sketchy about 120 degrtee swashplates, one that i saw had to be assembled by the user and as i have no prior experience with this, i don't really want to do this. Does anyone know of a better swashplate and will a 120 degree swashplate really improve the stability?
Thanks,
Josh

RE: Dragonfly upgrades
120° swash from helihobby would be for the conversion of the HB F/P to C/P using hornets parts, that would take a serious modification and would cost you ~$195.
I've ordered the aluminum swash and seems to help in the stability compared to the original swashplate.
120° swash won't be needed unless you go with the CP conversion.

thanks, might stick with the aluminium one but are there any other mods that are better at increasing the stability?

RE: Dragonfly upgrades
These little toys are pretty unstable by nature. If you are looking for a more stable beginner heli, stop buying upgrades for your little toy and save for a Corona.
I have some regrets in buying a dragonfly, over-all cost of upgrades is like buying a Raptor.
I was even planning of buying B/L motor but instead I decided to save for the Logo 10, I got all the accesories need and only need the kit itself.. it's just I could not justify to the wife as my surface r/c are becoming more of a shelf models.. She told me that she will only allow me if I could purged those stuff. [sm=lol.gif][sm=lol.gif]
