Hi,
Does anyone have a set of FACET 2300 plans they'd like to sell.
Thanks,
Jon

Is Kerry Sterner still around?

He was really, really helpful when I built mine. I actually had a lot of fun with that plane, even though I built mine out to be a pig...it just always worked and flew nicely. Very good trainer.

Is Kerry Sterner still around?
I have sent him a couple of emails over the last month with no response. He has always responded in the past.
I am in the process of taking my Facet 2300 out of retirement.
I'll take a look at my plans and see about getting them copied for you Jon

Hi,
Thanks everyone.
I contacted Kerry last night and, on Jan 1, 2017 he sold the rights to all his plans to Nick Ziroli.
I contacted Ziroli plans and the lady seemed confused about Kerry's plans.
I'll try again later today.
Luckily I saved the nose gear and main gear, just have to find someone to cut the foam wings.
Thanks,
Jon

Jon,
Note that the FACET 2300 is available as a short kit or full kit from National Balsa in Ware, MA. The short kit includes all laser cut ply-less sheeting and the full kit includes both. Quoted prices are $ 160 for the short kit and $ 410 for the full kit. No plans or accessories- landing gear, etc are included with either kit. Contact info: nationalbalsa.com.
I ordered a short kit of the Facet 1200 this past summer and it arrived within a week or two. I was very pleased with the laser cutting and quality of the ply. Price was $ 115 plus shipping.
Rgds,

Ziroli is listing the Kerry Sterner Plans but the web site page is not complete. I would give them a call.

Negative!

Like many other of my planned projects, this one too has been "swept" aside before getting started.

I got the 1200 I bought from Zirolli, its not here yet.
I was thinking to enlarge it to 90inches or 82inches.
This would be my first ever turbine jet and its exiting lol

Where are you getting the foam core wing from? This is the plane I got my waiver with and I'm thinking of building one again. Its just so simple.

Thanks
Scott

What the difference between the HP wing and the normal wing? Does the same apply to the 1200?

2300HP wing is swept and has more area. You can see the difference in the pics in my earlier post.
1200HP has similar swept wing
