Frequency issues
I was just wondering, since the DF tx/rx are operating in the 72 Mhz area,is anyone outside of those countries where 72 Mhz is legal ,having problems (interference, legal issues like insurance) with their DF ?

RE: Frequency issues
I can't fly mine at clubs because they have to be squeeky clean for insurance purposes, but I fly it in my garden with no interference issues. The conversion to local frequency of 36mhz should be possible - bit of surgery with the soldering iron to add an external reciever, but for the time being I dont feel the need to fly at any clubs so I'ml eaving it alone

RE: Frequency issues
I havent tried this but the following may be an option:
A RX modification to the 40 mHz band should be possible by changing the quartz and a couple of condensators maybe the 2 coils too. That would make it better for European market i guess
