Default Esky servos stop responding.

I have a dragonfly with and esky radio system. Sometimes the servos stop responding. At first I figured it was a receiver issue but it can happen to both servos at once or one at a time it just seems random. I think it is the servo for sure because as soon as you touch the servo arm(usually after a crash[]) it starts responding again. Could it be the receiver still? I just wanted to see if anyoneelse had the problem with esky servos before I fork out more cash on this copter

Yes, This happens to me intermittently on the front servo. I have no idea why or what is causing this.

Usually if touching the servo arm causes it to move again, it is a bad pot inside the servo.

The stock servos are very poor to begin with. You may want to consider replacing them with something of better quality. I replaced mine with some Hitec HS-56's.
Be forwarned that you may have to cut off the mounting ears to install a different brand/type of servo (if that is an issue to you)

Pops.

The stock esky servos may be of low quality but the ones on my esky, my brother's and another one are still going (knock on wood). I've put about 15 hours of flight time on mine since this summer.

The same thing happened to me. I've replaced it with one from Century, witch turns out to be faster. I don't know how well it works, I'm waiting on replacement parts broken because of servo freeze.

Yeh I think it was the servos. I got 2 hitec-55 blue featherlites yesterday and it seems to be fixed. They also respond much faster. Now I need new blades because the last time the eskys didn't respond I destroyed the rotor blade while flying. This hobby is quite the challenge. I am hooked

Hey guys!

I am from Brazil, and am at the moment at Canada. I am thinking about buying an eletric cp heli ( I already have a dragonfly, but now it's getting boring, want more action...).
So, I saw the Honey Bee 2, wich appears to be very cheap... but I am not sure about the quality... What is you opinion? Should I buy the honey bee II or the Hummingbird III ? Or should I get a bigger one?

Thanks guys!
