Wireless antenna?
Is [there] a 2.4 ghz system that doesn't have an antenna for the rx? I seem to remember seeing a system [without] a wire, but it seems too good to be true!
I want one very badly, but don't know if it exists...
Thanks for the help!

RE: Wireless antenna?
Oops, I meant to say is THERE a system without an antenna...
And I'm talking 3 channel.
Wow, that first post had a lot of typos... I should check before posting.

RE: Wireless antenna?
I run all my Spekrum rx's with the wire tucked into the radio box. Doing so might diminish the range by 1/4 but with a range of at least 1500' it won't matter to me. Anyone that can drive an RC without crashing when its over 1000' away needs a job as a binoculars!
I'd guess most 2.4GHZ systems are the same - you should safely be able to run with the antenna tucked away.

RE: Wireless antenna?
I use a 4" long antenna tube with my Futaba 3PM-2.4Ghz reciever, the other inch so of antenna is in the reveiver box. With a 4" antenna tube, the antenna is well inside most bodies (except on buggies). Works great.
Like the other guys said, really you could just run the antenna coiled inside the radio box and it would work just fine...
Btw, most, if not all 2.4Ghz systems use a very short antenna, more than 50% shorter than standard antennas...

RE: Wireless antenna?
Cool. So I was looking at the DX 3.0, and if I put the antenna in the box I'll still have over a 1000ft range with my 6v hump pack? SWEET! Plus there's the built in Failsafe.
Thanks for the help, I never would have done that!
