I called them and they sell the truck for 365 but I'm sure they would work a deal out to be comparable to the other site. They are a great hobbyshop and very friendly. Their number is (563)-441-9996. Ask for Mandy or Mark. The just got a website that is still under construction also, www.americanhobbyracing.com

Actually the truck handles very well if you have a good throttle finger or a remote that allows you to set up the exp. If you've never driven one or have limited experience driving then you can't make a very accurate statement.

Default HELP: Schumacher xtr 3E truck?

well with what i've seen and heard this truck is pretty good for just bashing around the local parkinglot and backyard , i know what your thinking, why don't i just get a nitro onroad if i was going to bash in a parking lot right? nope it's totally oppisite of that i've been interested in this truck for a while now and have been reading about the new ez start system for this truck[ with a drill of coarse] and seem that it has the power to out drag a nitro 4-tec 2.5 but can handel some of the most intense jumps so thats pretty much why, and i don't think tower has them what is sheldons site. But most of the sites that i go to have them but the prices are in british pounds or in silver , and honestly i don't know a thing about british pounds or silver. But about the handeling thing if you buy the alluminume a-arms and and other alluminume accesories for the front to sorta way it down it will still do power wheelies but will be a little better handeling. And by the way i agree with rc10gt it does handle well but with the little extra weight in front it will be a pretty good handeling truck.

I e-mailed Schumacher and got a reply from them that said that the 3-speed is not recommended for grass or anyplace that the drive train can bog down. See it here.

That kind of disqualifies it as an "off-road" car, IMO.
