My buddy and I have a pair of new H9 Edge 540's that we are getting ready to set up. We plan to put ZDZ 40's on them. Does anyone have any experience with this size gas engine on the H9 Edge or just constructive comments on that set-up? We're getting out of glow with all our planes................Oakley

I wouldn't, to much weight I think. Try a moki 1.8 or OS 1.6 with jett muffler for best flight performance

Where can you get that diablotin XL muffler?!? I want to use this setup, but can't find that muffler anywhere on the net!!!

I'm trying to get away from glow. No body seems to have a concrete reason why I shouldn't use the ZDZ 40. It's only 1 pound heavier than the Saito 180.

Does the one pound include ignition and a possibly hevier muffler? Are you going to have to put a taller gear on it to run a larger prop? (I don't know what size prop the ZDZ uses...) Going to strengthen the firewall?

I'm in favor of the gassers...and those are the issues I ran into.
