Default HELP !!!

<span style="font-family: Comic Sans MS"><span style="font-size: larger">I have just assembled my Dynam A-10 EDF.. When I plug in the battery, the throttle runs WIDE open and will not respond to the Transmiter.. Everything else is in sync with transmiter, just having problems with the throttle.. Any ideas what would cause this ??</span></span>

If you're using a brushed motor, the full battery voltage is probably being diverted around the ESC somehow, perhaps by a short somewhere on the circuit board. In a brushless system, this is not likely because a functioning ESC is needed to power the motor. Also, an ESC will not arm if it is seeing a full-throttle signal and will often go to programming mode instead.
