Theres this handy thing on the truck called a 'roll bar' that doubles as a handle, very good for when you need to "lift" the truck

get some shock towers with a bunch of adjustment postion holes, use harder springs and use bigger 40 series tires. thats about all you can do. Any time you make the ride hight go up the center of gravity is also going to increase though so your handling will suffer. You can counter this by getting offset rims and LCG tvps I hear cronic makes some good ones for the savage x. Give him a PM hes on this forum somewhere

I dont know where your going to get longer A arms ive never seen any. Ive seen adjustable position ones where you can set the shock position in further for it to sit higher.

RE: looking for a lift for my truck.
I hear that 8.5'' tires are hard on diffs so I only run 7'' but with my 6'' tires I never had problems getting over 4'' curbs just pull over to the curb at a 45 degree angle and nail the gas but thats not easy on the diffs or skid-plates either hahaha! but as for lifting the truck I anded extra shock clips I made from 1/2'' pipe I got at home depo, I had my savage in the air!!! but that did not last long because the cornering was bad very bad[:'(]

RE: looking for a lift for my truck.
It's just like lifting a real 1:1 rig with IFS/IRS. You can gain small amounts of lift by running longer springs and shocks, but once you get to a certain point you start getting into bad operating angles for the dogbones/diff outdrives/axles. If you really want to lift it much higher than stock you will have to lower the diffs themselves... if you want to do it properly. You can also cheat with longer arms and easily gain a small amount of lift too. What you really need are special TVPs that raise the center section, where the transmission and engine are mounted. Basically the opposite of LCG TVPs, if that makes any sense.
It's not worth going through that much trouble in my opinion. It would be different if you combined the "lifted" chassis with longer arms, offset wheels, and a hefty wheelbase extension, as that would help to at least maintain the current handling characteristics. The already tipsy stock Savage just isn't going to be very fun with all of that weight jacked up even higher than it already is.

FLM makes extended alum. arms. it'd be nice to have some different towers that spread out so the suspension geometry isnt off.

the truckzilla ext. chassis adds about 3/4'' in ride height.

the 1st truck is a mgt and it saw the most gaind in ride height, the back one is a savage with a 14 tooth or 13 tooth cb and a 52 tooth spur. i wasent going for all out speed but for curb climbing and stair climbing. to this day the diffs are original and so id the drivetrain. i believe if you gear it right you should'nt have a problem.i think if you want to raise a monster truck you should start with one that can be lifted, IE the xtm x factor

RE: looking for a lift for my truck.
well, your result is what you put into it, sure you can ask for help but no one will understand one hundred percent of what you are getting at. if you want a lift kit for you truck and obviously there isn't one then you'll just have to deal with it and make one your self if you want it that much.
