Hi everyone

I would like to make my sport plane a pusher or puller????.. , i just
want to mount the motor behind or in front of the wing if COG allows on a sort of
tower mount, so that the prop clears the wing, basically
just shift the motor(electric axi 2826) and prop in normal forward position
at the front of the plane, and move it rearwards, still facing
forward.

Does anyone know how i can make a mount for this setup? any examples maybe? or
Where can i get a commercially available one? my fuse is square, and i would like to mount
it on the fuse just behind the wing. (or just in front of it)

Take a look at Hobby Lobby for some ideas on mounts. Look also at the gliders and they have "Pods" for the electric motors.

Yes, something like that! How did you do it TP? is it strong?

Thx Twinman, Thats where i buy my motors, but how can i mount one of those motor mounts
on the pusher "boom" , Tall Paul, please give me some more info!

That's a Magnum .15 with a 7x5 prop, on a Hayes mount, with a 2 oz. tank,
The pylon is 1/64" plywood sides with 1/4" balsa internal structure.
1'8" real ply firewall supported by blocks on each side at the back.
It's rigid, light and easy to make.
The wing is from a GP Spirit glider, and the airplane carries a camera in the belly for AP work.

Thanks Paul you've been a great help, i'll have a look at the Hayes mount, or maybe build my own
like you suggested, If something happens i want the motor to survive a bad mishap
