Custom trailer pics
Just started on this the other day. 4 hours total for what you see in the pics. I just came home tonight from finishing up the tongue and both the axles. Next is to unbolt the axles so I can flip it over to start on the top. Its gonna be 6 x 12, and 6 tall. Tandem axle, side door with a rear ramp. Still dont know how interior will be finished but gettin alot of ideas from the other huge post on here. So far 8 hours total for the bottom half. Frame structure will be entirely out of steel and the skin will be sheet aluminum (the most expensive part of this trailer) It will also have electric brakes, and for probably half the cost of a new one, but definatley much more overbuilt!!!!! I always have a tendency to do that for some reason.

trailer!
Hi guy! Looks good so far! You build trailers like I do! More is definitely better! I built a golf car trailer for my dad years ago, I turned out strong enough to use for hauling horses!

Custom trailer pics
This was a before pic, (before I started workin on it) The sides front and back and top are all done. Next thing is to construct the doors, then get it ready for paint. Then the skin, and somewhere in there is the wiring..... Almost as fun as building planes!!!!!!!

RE: Custom trailer pics
have about 1200.00 into it, so far. only thing left to buy is wiring for generator, generator and a/c. rear door is not heavy at all. eventually will be putting springs on it though. hours to build???? LOTS!!!!!!!!! lots of welding, grinding, one er visit for metal in the eye (was even wearing protection)....... was fun to build though!!!!! underside was covered with rust oleum bedliner. came in a bit heavy (knew it would) but it is SOLID. will not flex and start to leak. 1700 pounds. moved from savannah to corpus with trailer loaded. 5000 punds total towing weight. dodge durango pulled it no problem.
