Default Air wild 29% extra hovering help

Hey all,

I recently put together a extra 260 from airwild with DA50. The plane flys great but I am having two problems, both related to hovering the plane. The first is it requires a lot of up elevator to keep nose up so consequently my hovering is bad because I am constantly fighting the nose. Is this a sign of nose heavy or just a normal thing with the bigger planes compared to the .40 size nitro planes. Second problem is when I come in to enter into a hover, the plane consistently wants to tip stall and drops a wing causing me to start off with getting it back under control. Not sure if I entering the hover wrong or what but for me to hover close to ground, I have always brought it in low and when ready pull back and apply throttle as the nose goes up.

Any help appreciated

has the plane been lat. balanced?

how does it fly inverted?

how does it track on up lines?

Hello,

The only balancing I did on plane was getting the cg in range. Not sure how to lateral balance.

Flys well inverted and with hands off it slowly starts heading toward ground.

In straight up vertical, full power, it goes almost straight maybe needs just a touch of right rudder. One thing I didnt mention is that it tip stalls when I pull back hard on elevator to enter the hover, otherwise the stalls are fairly gentle.

Thanks

work out all trimming issues so that you are not fighting the plane....
