RE: Carb
I ve worked out whats wrong but want to know why. AS im sure you all know the bottom of the hp carb for the s-25 has a metal rim on it and this has detached from the carb and is stuck fast in the carb hole with a huge chunk of metal missing out of it also the bottom of the carb is chipped away like its been contently snaded down rith rough snad paper any input welcome!

RE: Carb
I think he has the "spinningcarb" problem. I have this on my S-25 and it cant be fixed from what Ive heard. The carb throat in the engine is stuck out and the carb locking bolt doesnt catch anymore. My carb now easily pops off and moves around a lot Need STS .28!

RE: Carb
You say you haven't ran the truck yet?
If thats the case send it back to HPI and get a new 1.
Don't even bother with any fixes or buying a new 1..if you have already bought a new 1 ,still call HPI ,and they will send you another free!
Call them up USA 1-949-753-1099

RE: Carb
Still send it back to HPI if you KNOW it is under 2 years. Thyey warranty engines for 2 years I think, so it could be worth emailing them. I just had to send them some pics of my broken engine head and they sent me a new one, I didn't even need to send it back. If you can get your camera working.

RE: Carb
Ohreally 2 year engine warranty?????!?!?!?!? Mine is a year old with two gallons! You guys think I could get it under warranty if I call them up? Then I could sell the new one on ebay lol and buy an STS already! Please tell me what you think, ill call them in the week depending on what you think. Ive run only 20% Byron's on it ever since and maybe 5 tanks of Top Fuel, its in relatively good condition and pulls hard, its just te damn carb!!!!!!!!!!!![:@] I can actually do wheelies in grass with the stock S-25[>:]
