Default t9dragon's SCX10 Honcho

I special ordered the Honcho from my LHS and it arrived last Wednesday (Dec 9th). So I went down and picked up, I thought I was going to have to save it till Christmas so that the wife could give it to me as a present. But I got lucky as I wen to the LHS on Friday (Dec 11th) and they had the Blade Tandem heli in stock so I picked that up as my present.. LOL!!!

So I started the Honcho build on Friday (Dec 11th) at 10pm. That is the wrong time to start building any RC. Well the build went great except for a few missing screws. I finished up the build on Saturday evening. Now all that is left to do is paint the body and wait for the rain to stop so I can test it. The only problem I have had is with the shocks. They are really stiff, no recoil action when you try to compress them.

Now on to the pics...

MAN! I'm so jealous. It is such a cool truck idea. [sm=thumbs_up.gif]

I understand that it is supposed to be a little longer than the previous SCX-10, is that right? Besides the body, bumper and side guards are there any other differences?

Love this truck! And its a kit. Do you think 2.2's would fit ok on this truck? I have Rok Locks on my hilift and I am thinking about selling it for one of these. But I like the clearance you get from bigger rubber.

Looks good!
