HG P408/415 Hummer wheels out of scale?
Got one of the HG P415 H1 Hummers on the way to me. But looking over various photos of the model and the real thing, I kinda started to notice that the wheels on the HG look kinda off.
In this picture of the HG, you can see the wheels stick out past the edges of the body a bit.
On the real one though, they stay within the fenders.
Might be one of my first mods, to see if I can pull the wheels in a bit closer to the body. But it almost looks like the real Hummer wheels are a bit skinnier too. Anyone know a place that sells more scale-correct Hummer wheels in the old classic design like in the pictures?
I guess it's one of those "Once you see it, you can't unsee it" kinda things.
