Safety wire...
Hi guys,
the safety wire for fuel tubing connections has to be in steel or aluminum?
And of what diameter in milimeters should he be?
Thanks in advance
Best regards

RE: Safety wire...
I use different diamteres (.015, .020, .025) for different purposes.
The lighter wire isn't strong enough to exert the force I want on heavy duty lines without breaking, and the heavier wire is too rigid to form nicely around very small parts. So, e.g. for safety-wiring a 6mm fuel line I'll use the .025, whereas for saftey-wiring a 1/8" airline onto a Robart air tank nipple I'll use the .015.
