i remember a few weeks ago people talking about how Losi is not a racing team and that they are turning into a RTR company. funny how they dominated the 2008 smowbirds finals with the JRXS- R in stock 27t foam 27t rubber and 19t spec, yes 3 classes. also dominating the rumble in the rockies these past few weeks with the XXX-CR and XXXT-CR in 2WD modified class... hmmm not a racing team, i wonder what you call that then...

Eh I don't really like the minis and micros they make. Wouldnt call them JUNK, but I find their quality sub par

Do you own one? i own 3 Losi's and 1 traxxas, my Losi's have been AWESOME, no problems, even with my stock Mini T with a brushless system, that thing is bullitproof. my traxxas breaks alot, but is A BLAST to drive (e-maxx)

Losi is good..Rumble In The rockies is an All Losi show!!!They are the primary sponser. And yes they would win all the 27turn classes with THE RTR crowd,this is where they race

i hate when they release "downgraded" minis
or just make a new model with VERY little changes
such as the rammunition, raminator
there all the same mlst
then they make it only 1 motor...
just like the speed-t
they made all this hype for a NEW model
all i saw was a xxxt with a brushless system, a new body, new wheels/tires, and a new radio system


i will agree they are starting to become a rtr company

Sorry your wrong, the speed-t IS junk and it does not come with a spectrum radio, it comes with a DSM radio and that is no improvment, my 50 doller heli came with a dsm radio so now we know what there worth. I'd take a xxx-t over a speed-t anyday because unlike the speed-t the xxx-t isnt junk. since when is a speed-t a beefed up xxx-t? how do you know this it isnt even out yet? losi isnt origional anymore copying traxxas with the vxl (id take a rustler vxl over a speed-t ANY day) and with their crap raminator junk. losi needs to pull up their pants and release some new trucks that arent junk.

no use arguing with you if you cant tell the chassis is a XXXT but with beefed up upgrades, and for your info it is a spektrum technology but in a losi shell radio, i should have worded it better...

As to what I'd take, neither one of us can say. For that matter, NO one can say because the speed-t isn't out. I have my opinions formed, but I don't like putting down a car before it's out.

For that matter, I would take a flux over both of them.

SPEKTRUM IS A BRAND! how are they going to put a spectrum radio in a losi shell? geez know the stuff before you argue about it. its a 2.4 ghz DSM radio!

Your comparing the wrong cars. Compare the speed-t and the Rustler, you might have a different opinion. Traxxas makes some great trucks, I personally don't think the new E-maxx is one of their best. It's a good car, just from what I rember, a money pit.

now if i am right (correct if im not)
spektrum rc made the first ones of these

lots of companys now have 2.4gig radios
such as the m11fhss , 3pk fasst, mx3 fhss
but those are actuall GOOD radios
the losi one IS 2.4ghz but it still is kinda cheapy
i mean not rly adjustable (only has epas i think)
no screen
no digital trims
and it just looks cheap

the speed-t is a xxxt
but they put a new electronics system in it
i dont think they should say NEW MODEL
or create tons of hype

get your facts straight people.... if horizon owns both spektrum and LOSI, why would they put a different dsm in there?? as stated before they are using spektrum radio, ok let me rephrase "spektrum's technology" in a losi shell.
