Default DF Ti V - adding servos?

Hi everyone. I just upgraded to a Ti V (from a IV) and am curious about using the extra outputs on the underside of the main board. Does anyone know what kind of standard connector can be purchased for cleanly tapping into these pins? I was hoping for a model number that could be ordered from jameco or similar. I can't wait to get into adding cameras, switches, lights, microcontrollers, and the whole bit. Thanks! -phog

Hi phoglite,

You can get a breakout cable at http://www.spectrolutions.com/ If you click "R/C Products" and then go down to "DF V Ti instructions.pdf" you'll see the cable mentioned at the bottom of page 2. Sounds like exactly what you want. I don't see it on the online store but I'm sure you can just call and order one. Mike is a great guy.

Here's what you need. DFI used to offer these at no charge but only if you requested it.

Thanks guys - that's exactly what I was looking for. I'll see if they still make them available. For starters, I'd like to add one of those RC Switch circuits. I built one up last week and got a cheapo ($19) digital camera from walmart to take some aerial stills with. I think for now I'll just tap in the ugly way to see if I can get it working. I've been browsing and have yet to see anyone using these outputs. I'm thinking camera pan / tilt via nano servos or maybe some parachute drop mechanism, etc. Perhaps the weight limitations are too restrictive for this sort of thing? -phog
